1. Based on the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1112703805 dated September 21, 2022, "Record of the 2022 National University Information Security Meeting", information security has been included in the "Special Chapter on Information Security in the Higher Education Deepening Program", implementing the "National Universities Information Security Maintenance Guidelines". Private universities may refer to these guidelines to strengthen incident response mechanisms and related protection measures.
2. The Ministry of Education's letter No. 1100179797 dated December 30, 2021, established the "National Universities Information Security Maintenance Guidelines" to promote the implementation of information security management laws throughout the university.
3. The Information Security Certification Center for Educational Institutions has revised these implementation strategies, referring to the Ministry of Education's operational guidelines, the Information Security Act and related regulations, executive policies from the Executive Yuan and Ministry of Education, field inspection checklists, protection control measures, and audit findings to assist schools in implementing these strategies. These are provided for reference by university information security officers and teams.
