Library and Information Center - Information Security Education and Training Activities for 2023

Target Audience: Students and Faculty
Event Description: This department is implementing the Ministry of Education's Second Phase Program - School Promotion of Information Security Enhancement, and is organizing information security education and training activities.

Event Theme: 'Information Security Practice - Physical Computer Security Practical'

Event Content:

1.Operating System Installation: Learn how to correctly install operating systems, including common Windows and Linux systems. We will share best practices to ensure the security and stability of system installations.

2.Cat5e/6 Network Cable Production: In this part, we will teach you how to create network cables to ensure the availability and security of wired network connections. Understand different types of network cables and         
connection standards.

3.Software Configuration: Explore the importance of software configuration, including securing operating systems and applications. We will share how to enhance password security, prevent malware, and configure     
 firewalls and network security.

This event will be conducted in evening sessions, with classes held twice a week for 4 hours each, totaling 48 hours.
Event Date and Time: Starting on September 26, 2023 (Tuesday), every Tuesday and Thursday, from 18:00 to 22:00. The course is limited to 30 participants.
Location: Classroom N108, 1st Floor, North Building, Administration Building
