In response to adjustments in Google's policies, our department announced relevant measures in March 2021, with a priority to ensure the rights and access of current enrolled students. Deletion of accounts for non-faculty and non-enrolled students has been completed, and the affected range is as follows:

Bachelor's level student ID range:

  • B89~B105
  • C89~C105

Master's level student ID range:

  • M89~M107
  • E89~E107

Original Announcement [System Service] Major Google Scholar Account Service Adjustment Notice (110-03-03)

  1. Subsequently, our department will carry out routine restructuring of Google accounts for non-enrolled students. The schedule for this adjustment period is as follows:

For non-enrolled students (including previous academic years) with student IDs starting with B106, C106, M108, E108:

  1. Starting from August 1, 2022, there will be a buffer period for the deletion of Google Scholar accounts.

  2. Starting from March 1, 2023, accounts of non-enrolled students will be deactivated (Phase Two).

  3. Starting from July 1, 2023, accounts of non-enrolled students will be deleted (Final Phase).

  4. In the future, the reapplication of academic account services for alumni will be considered based on space usage.

  5. For enrolled faculty, staff, and students, please ensure that your Google Scholar account usage remains within 15GB.
